Meningitis B: Beat it Now
The UK's first Meningitis B vaccine has been licensed. It will save thousands of lives, especially among children under five, who are most at risk. Meningitis B is the most common form of the disease in the UK and one of the deadliest.
We need the Government to quickly introduce the Meningitis B vaccine, so it will be given to all children and save as many lives as possible.
Please support our 'Meningitis B: Beat it Now' campaign.
Why we need the vaccine:
Tommy fought hard but to win his battle against meningitis B he had to have both legs, his right hand and left hand fingers amputated in March 2012.
Here's how you can help support the campaign:
- Sign the Beat it NOW! petition today. Every signature counts so please share with friends, family and colleagues. Sign now.
- Upload a picture to our campaign photo wall. It could be a picture of you or your family and you could be holding a photo of your loved one - see the examples. Please explain briefly how meningitis has affected you and why we urgently need a Meningitis B vaccine for all children.
- Write to your MP and tell him/her why the Meningitis B vaccine needs to be widely available.
